AtelierFraSe is a nomad workshop established by Francesco Gorni (Lodi 1980) and Serena Montesissa (Piacenza 1982), that develops its research through a non stop creative process, using architecture and design as privileged media of expression. In London since 2011, AtelierFraSe collaborates to the realization of site-specific interventions for public spaces, installations and set designs for theatres.

The elements are designed to become a vehicle of communication that emphasizes the connection between urban and natural environment.
The project involves the construction of some free-standing ” inhabitable? sculptures” to be distributed in Piazza Trivulzio: structures with a zoomorphic shape and architectural articulation.
Suspended on wooden legs at different heights, each of the structures allows access to people with different height, one person for structure. When the visitor explores the structure womb and puts his head inside the building-animal he will face an unexpected view…
The project proposes a contemporary reinterpretation of the cosmogonist myth: the union between heartly and otherworldly using human beings as means that become the emblem of the same harmony proposed by the Vitruvian man of Leonardo Da Vinci.
Throughout the selection of a view or a portion of the sky these facilities will allow the visitors to experience the isolation from the world, encouraging them at the same time to consider the specific spatial relationship between their position and what they observe.
