Un Mondo Sommerso

The work aims to overturn up and down and reverse the elements earth, air, and water, by immersing the audience in a hypothetical dip in the middle of a group of small fish. Fish swim in the air, as they normally do in the water, moving in different directions. The earth becomes their sky from which extends a hook that seeks to capture them. The hook symbolically evokes the interaction between man and nature: it nourishes itself while not exploring a deeper relationship. In this work the human being walks on the surface of an imaginary sea through the group of fish. The visitor can relate to them and get closer to a world otherwise inaccessible.
During the project the artist is assisted by Giordano Bersanetti, set designer.
