Giussano (MB), 1982, Italy.
Lives and works in Bregnano (CO).
She got a degree in sculpture at the Academy of Fine Arts of Brera, in Milan.
Her artworks result from the meeting between materials and their archetypical value. As recurring elements of her works, threads and natural elements move in space with intensity and lightness.
As river flows, so clouds move above us, forming infinitely changeable shapes.
In this artwork, clouds are stopped and placed on the Naviglio Martesana, as to underline its continuous flow.
The viewer doesn’t need to look up in order to see the clouds but it is possible to see them looking at the water, that reflects them as a natural mirror. This change in perspective evokes new images that bewilder the viewer.
