Pax Mundi

In the project “Pax Mundi” the artist wants create a mini oasis where to stop, reflect, think, pray … It is an olive grove in miniature formed by thirty bonsai trees, a contemporary reinterpretation of the garden of Gethsemane. A microcosm inside the Park of the Isola Borromeo where make a journey into one’s self. In fact, the olive tree has been chosen as a symbol of peace, fertility and longevity, three conditions in which the human being aspires and dreams forever.
People have the power to change and bend nature according to his own interests, but often they forget to do so respecting its sacredness and understanding that are part of a wonderful universe.
