In 2011 he graduated in Painting at the Academy of Fine Art of Brera – Milan. His current research focuses on the spatiality and temporality of the of global network society. Explore this subject using different media: critical writing, public space performance, painting and drawing. In all of these practices, peculiar importance is given to the analysis of cartographic logic.

Maps are usually perceived as interfaces located in flat space, on paper or on screen, disconnected from the space they represent. As such, they are seen as inanimate objects which try to tell us something about an essentially animated world. In this line, human settlements they represent come to be imagined as objects, environments built of concrete, asphalt, glass, and so on. Garden Map of Cassano d’Adda tries to make present that our settlements are not just complexes of houses, instead they are ecologies, living systems made of people who are in inextricable and complex mutual relationship with grander ecosystems. There is no discontinuity between ecosystems and our societies, but their unity is not given by itself. At this moment, it crucially depends on our care, on our everyday nourishment practice of this magnificent interlinked system. To make this real, our digital networking structures can act as an instrument of organisation. Garden map is, in that sense, an index of this society – ecosystem interdependence, and, in the identical way, it decisively relies on our care to be able to grow and bloom.
