Paolo Uboldi, Varese, 1982. Lives and works in Milan.
After graduating from the Politecnico di Milano he begins to develop various projects between art, design and architecture by placing at the center of his research the relationship between technique and practice, innovation and tradition, technology and environment.

The man has always lived a difficult relationship with nature; on the one hand has always appreciated the immense and infinite beauty of nature, on the other has always needed to measure it, capture it, or modify it to suit his needs.
The canals that surround the island are direct demonstration of this.
Through the ironic representation of an utopic “Celestial trap”, the installation would like to become the image of this dichotomy.
The visitor will imagine for a moment that the sky has been trapped in a space parallel to the natural as Narciso by his reflection.
An imaginary island within a real island.
The visitor will imagine that the scale may be the access to this parallel space, thinking that the trap has succeeded
Approaching the installation the trick will be slowly revealed leaving in the visitor the impression that the natural elements can only be admired.
The dream will remain a dream.
