The jury of Ecoismi 2016, composed as follows:
Ylbert Durishti, curator of the project Ecoismi
Amalia Del Ponte, artist
Iolanda Ratti, curator at the Museo del Novecento, Milan
Giuseppe Bonini, deputy director of the Academy of Fine Arts of Brera, Milan
Rita Zecchini,assessor for the Culture of the Municipality of Cernusco sul Naviglio Culture
Laura Vecchi, assessor for the Culture of the Municipality of Cassina de’ Pecchi
Evelina Cavenago, assessor for the Culture of the Municipality of Vaprio d’Adda
Based on article N°4 of the call rules, one more project has been selected, for a total of 7 (seven) artworks to be executed.
The projects selected by the jury valuations are as follows:
- Proiezione stellare – Alessandro Perini (ITA/SWE)
- Pieces – Benny Mangone (ITA)
- Sopra le nuvole – Emanuela Bizzozero (ITA)
- Untitled – Calembour (ITA)
- Space as an Organism – Ines Fiegert (DEU)
- ATeMpo – MA2 (IRN/ITA)
- Pixel Shadow – VAHA (ITA)
The jury also decided to award two (2) Special Mentions considering the high quality of the applications submitted to the projects:
- Rainbow Wheels – Federica Pezzani & Daniele Verderio (ITA)
- E quindi è successo – Irma Blumstock (DEU)
The jurors based their judgment evaluating the creative idea, the relevance to the purpose of the initiative, the documentation submitted by the tenderers attached to the application form.
The jury’s decision is final.
